Built on the site of an old monastery, the Friars Rest Guest House is a B&B that has been owned by the same family for many years and the management takes pride in the high standard of hospitality and comfort that they offer guests, paying particular attention to cleanliness and detail. All 7 rooms are en suite and well equipped with LCD digital TVs and tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities. Breakfast is served each morning in an elegant dining room with an original marble fireplace surround. All diets are catered for with a vegetarian option available on request. The guesthouse has the benefit of an off-road car park and on-road parking permits.
