Lady Anne Middletons Hotel nestles in a secluded English courtyard garden and will delight you with its tranquillity yet close proximity to all York's main tourist attractions and businesses. Housed in a collection of six historically listed buildings, it first opened as a bed and breakfast in June 1973, and remains in the same family ownership to this day. The hotel is fully non-smoking and facilities include 54 comfortable bedrooms. The restaurant serves hearty English breakfasts from 7.45am to 9.30am (except for Sundays, when it’s slightly later) and dinner is served from 6.00pm. The kitchen team produces tempting dishes based on local, national and international cuisine, the emphasis being on the use of locally produced fresh food. The Old Sawmill has been completely restored to provide a fully equipped fitness facility (“Emperors”) within the hotel grounds. It is available free of charge to all hotel guest who are either following a personal fitness programme or just fancy a tone up. Due to the popularity of the pool, booking may be required on your arrival at the hotel.
